The Giants' History

Giorgio Gomelsky, the T-Bones’ manager, was interested in The Grant Group for a big tour he was promoting in France with French rock star Johnny Halliday.  The tour fell through and following this disappointment and the recent line-up changes, keeping the band together on a professional basis was proving practically impossible.  The three core members decided to fold the band.  John Hills and Glyn Grain decided to pursue other careers.  Trevor Duplock continued to perform locally, fronting other bands until the summer of 1966 and the formation of Shelley.
